Privacy Policy

We built 21-Day Challenge to help you build habits — not to harvest your data. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and what control you have over it.

1. Overview

21-Day Challenge ("we," "us," "our") is operated by iLoma Technology. We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use our mobile and web applications (the "Service").

The short version: Your habits, journal entries, and notes are stored on your device by default. We only collect what we need to make the app work. We never sell your data.

2. What we collect

2.1 Information you give us

  • Account info — your name, email, and password (if you create an account for cross-device sync). An account is optional.
  • Challenge data — challenges you create, daily check-ins, streaks, journal entries, mood logs, and reminder settings.
  • Support communication — any messages you send us via email or in-app support.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device info — operating system, app version, device model, language, time zone.
  • Diagnostics & crash reports — anonymous logs that help us fix bugs.
  • Usage analytics — aggregated, anonymised events such as feature use and screen views, to improve the app.

2.3 What we don't collect

  • We don't collect contacts, photos, location, microphone, or camera data.
  • We don't track you across other apps or websites.
  • We don't sell or rent your data to anyone.

3. Why we collect it

  • To provide the core habit-tracking features you signed up for.
  • To sync your data across devices (only if you sign in with an email).
  • To send reminders, alarms, and progress notifications you've enabled.
  • To respond to your support requests and account recovery.
  • To fix bugs, prevent abuse, and improve the experience.

4. Where your data lives

If you use 21-Day Challenge without an account, all your challenges, journal entries, and history live entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded to our servers.

If you create an account, your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest on our servers, which are hosted with reputable cloud providers. Your password is hashed using industry-standard one-way algorithms — we can never see it.

5. Sharing & third parties

We share data only in these limited cases:

  • Service providers who help us run the app (hosting, crash reporting, analytics). They are bound by contract to use your data only for the agreed purpose.
  • Legal compliance if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business transfers if iLoma Technology is involved in a merger or acquisition — you will be notified and given choices about your data.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct any inaccurate information.
  • Delete your account and associated data.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@ilomatechnology.com. We'll respond within 30 days.

7. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account) or via our account deletion page. Once deletion is processed, all personal data associated with your account is removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (such as transaction records).

8. Children's privacy

21-Day Challenge is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we'll delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you in-app or by email.
